Women’s Health Equity Coalition Started in Macon County

The Macon County Health Department recently started a Women’s Health Equity Coalition. The group’s first meeting is Wednesday. Administrator Mike Chambers explains the group’s purpose.
Chambers adds there are a few different focus areas for the coalition.
The meeting will be Wednesday morning at 9 at Noland’s Catering in Macon. Anyone interested in joining is advised to call the Macon County Health Department at 660-395-4711.
