Women Legislators of Missouri Caucus Holding Annual Scholarship Competition

The Women Legislators of Missouri Caucus is sponsoring up to 20 college scholarships for high school senior girls in the state. Each scholarship is for one-thousand dollars. Representative Peggy McGaugh says this program is about empowering young women.
Students must fill out an application and are required to submit a 500-word essay answering the question, “If you were a state legislator, what is one specific goal you would hope to achieve and why?” McGaugh details how students can apply.
The deadline to submit the essay is March 22nd.
