Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant in Moberly

A Moberly woman faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility after her arrest Tuesday on an outstanding warrant. A Moberly police officer stopped 44-year-old Lisa Thorp in the 100 block of East Coates shortly after midnight, knowing she had an active warrant in Boone County for felony stealing. She was taken to the Randolph County Jail, and during booking, staff found a baggie with methamphetamine. Bond on the new charge was set at $15,000.
