WOLLMERING NAMED TO THE D2 MANAGEMENT COUNCIL

Truman’s Director of Athletics Jerry Wollmering has been named to the NCAA Division II Management Council and will begin a four-year term immediately. The D2 Management Council handles the day-to-day affairs of the division and serves as the primary advisory group to the Presidents Council. The group is charged with recommending administrative policy and regulations that govern the division, reviews and acts on recommendations from the Division II committee structure and from Division II representatives to committees with Association-wide functions.

The 28-committee members include director of athletics, senior women’s administrators, faculty athletic representatives, student-athletes and conference administrators.

Wollmering has been the Director of Athletics at Truman since 1999.
