Five other sophomores on the roster transferred from other programs. Harrisburg’s Cade Combs comes in from Columbia College, Jalen Lee is from Navarro College in Texas, Eddie Creal from Western Wyoming Community College, Dusan Mahoricic from Lewis University, and Quinton Drayton from Towson State. Smith says Drayton may be the best offensive player on the roster.

Smith says the rotation could be ten or 11 deep this season, with three or four stars, and the rest still trying to determine their roles.

The Greyhounds open tomorrow night (Fri.) with a schedule change. Moberly plays Houston Community College of Texas, after Link Year Prep requested to not play the Greyhounds twice this season. We will have the home opener against tomorrow night at 7, following the Lady Hounds opener against Marshalltown of Iowa. With Moberly High football on KWIX, we’ll have tomorrow’s games on 99.9, the Captain, with the pregame starting at 4:50.
