Westran District Planning for Students in Class

At this point, Westran plans to have students at school when classes begin in August. Superintendent Mike Nagel says the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education provided a webinar earlier this week that gave them some guidance.

However, Nagel says the district needs to be prepared in case some changes need to be made.

Nagel says safety is the number one factor.

The Westran School Board also approved the new budget this week.
