Westran and Marceline Battle For L&C Supremacy

At least a share of the Lewis & Clark Conference title is on the line when Westran visits Marceline Friday night. Both teams have a perfect 5-0 conference record. Westran enters 7-0 overall and ranked fifth in Class 1. Westran coach Aaron O’Laughlin says his Hornets are ready for the challenge presented by Marceline.

Westran has featured both a balanced offense and a strong defense this season. They’ve allowed an average of 13.7 points per game while forcing a total of 16 turnovers. O’Laughlin discusses some of the keys to success for his defense against the Tigers.
