Weltha Is The GLVC Player Of The Week

Truman State University junior forward Ellie Weltha has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Player of the Week in women’s basketball. In two Bulldog wins over the weekend in Minnesota. Weltha averaged 23.5 points and 15 rebounds. She shot 59 percent from the field (20-34).
Weltha and the Bulldogs play a pair of games at the Drury Thanksgiving Classic. Tuesday, the opponent is Union, Tennessee. Wednesday, Truman will play Saginaw Valley State, Michigan. Both games will tip at 1:00. Our first Truman women’s broadcast will be Sunday’s home opener with Upper Iowa at 1:45 on KRES.
