Weather Forcing Tournament Changes

The ice and snow moving into the area this weekend is forcing several schools to move up the games in their tournaments. At Salisbury, three games will be played in the south gym Friday: two consolation games, and the girls third place game. Coverage will start at 4:20 on 99.9 the Captain. The two championship games and the boys third place game will be in their new dome. We will have those three games on KRES. The order of the games will be adjusted to get Meadville, Norborne, and Carrollton teams and fans home first.

The New Franklin Tournament will also wrap up Friday night. The new gym will have the girls third place game at 4:30, girls championship at 6, and boys championship at 7:30. The old gym will have the boys fifth place game between Community and Bunceton/Prairie Home at 4:30, followed by the girls fifth place game between Sturgeon and Bunceton/Prairie Home, and the boys third place game. The participants in the third place and championship games will be decided tonight.
