Vitt Tribute To His Friend Since School Days-Sam Richardson

The Director of Moberly Area Technical Center, Sam Richardson, died Saturday night. Paris superintendent Dr. Aaron Vitt calls Richardson one of his best friends and admires how his colleague in education and coaching was able to impact students….

Vitt and Richardson both came back to teach and coach at Moberly High School and later became administrators….

Paris superintendent Dr. Aaron Vitt and Sam Richardson coached wrestling together on two different occasions, for the Spartans.

Richardson was the Director of the Moberly Area Technical Center since 2016. He had also previously been Moberly’s head wrestling coach for 11 years and a longtime assistant high school football coach.
