Vandalia Man Killed in Ralls County Accident

A Vandalia man died in a single-vehicle accident just before 2 Tuesday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol reports 30-year-old Zachary Utterback failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the left side of Route P, three miles northwest of Vandalia, overturned numerous times and was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
