UTV Accident In Ralls County

A UTV accident in Ralls County injured a New London man on Saturday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 38-year-old Eric Mewes of Quincy was driving his cargo van partially in the roadway when he struck the side of a Honda UTV driven by 74-year-old Larry W. Hendren. The accident occured on Malaruni Road about one mile south of Saverton in Ralls County around 1:55 on Saturday afternoon. Hendren was taken to Hannibal and the condition of Mewes is unknown.
