The new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement includes environment regulations for the three nations. EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler touted what he calls the first trade deal to include such mechanisms.

Wheeler says a number of programs are coming online as part of these provisions, including one geared toward farmers and ranchers.

In addition to mechanisms addressing environmental standards, USMCA also includes labor regulations, and requires that each automobile manufactured have three-fourths of its content come from within the three nations.
