Flooding has closed a section of US Highway 24 in Chariton County. The closed area of the roadway is west of Keytesville from Jackson Street East to Route FF. Missouri Department of Transportation made the announcement at 3:45p.m. today (Monday) as water continues to flood the roadway. MoDOT reminds motorist to never drive thru water over the roadway and “turn around-don’t drown”.
