Despite the challenge of playing high school softball in the midst of a COVID-19 pandemic, the season will reach the finish line with the state championship games in Springfield this week. The tough news, if Salisbury and La Plata play for a title, is a limited number of tickets are available according to the Executive Director of the Missouri State High School Activities Association, Dr. Kerwin Urhahn….

Dr. Urhahn says there is a reason why only electronic tickets are available….

Urhahn says the ticket will be for just one championship game….

MSHSAA Executive Director Dr. Kerwin Urhahn reminds us that 3rd place games are canceled. Only state championship games will be held at the Killian Softball Complex in Springfield this Thursday through Saturday. If you can’t attend, you can watch the games online at mshsaa.tv for a charge of $10 per game or $15 for each championship game.

You can hear the full program with Dr. Urhahn by going to the Magic City Sports Talk page at centralmoinfo.com.
