Upcoming Moberly Performer Mandy Barnett Remains Rooted in Classic Country

Mandy Barnett will perform a Christmas concert this Saturday at 7pm at the Moberly Municipal Auditorium. The 46-year-old Barnett got her start playing the title role in the musical “Always…Patsy Cline”. Barnett says her career was shaped by classic country music from there.
Barnett’s decision to stick with classical country music came when many country artists were shifting toward a pop style of country. She says her decision has been a fulfilling one.
