Unique Challenges To Soy Harvest At Bay Farm

Three-fourths of Missouri’s projected soybean harvest is in the bin according to this week’s USDA Crop Progress report.  That includes nearly all of this year’s research plots at the Bay Farm Research Center east of Columbia.  Clayton Light, Missouri Soybeans’ Director of Conservation Agriculture & Farm Operations, notes that with several different research projects underway, harvest at the Bay Farm looks much different than at a typical farm.

Light says several of the harvested beans may see use in future research projects.
