Moberly lost 38-34 at Fulton last year, but the Spartans avenged the defeat with a 35-0 victory in the district quarterfinals. McDowell scouts the Hornets.

McDowell referenced sophomore quarterback Courtland Simmons, who rushed for 268 yards and three touchdowns off the bench in the regular season game. Moberly limited Simmons to 14 rushing yards in the playoff rematch. Fulton head coach Trey Barrow discusses the sophomore’s maturation.

Fulton faces depth issues this year, but a few Hornet starters returned to the lineup in recent games. Barrow says the Hornets continue to develop.
