University of Missouri System announced it will be suspending in-person classes for the remainder of the spring semester at all four universities. This takes effect at University of Missouri-Columbia, UMKC, UMSL and Missouri S&T. The announcement follows declarations of emergency by U.S. President Donald Trump and Missouri Governor Mike Parson to combat COVID-19. All coursework for in-person classes will be delivered remotely beginning next week. Libraries, residence halls and dining halls will remain open. Recreational centers and complexes will be closed. Decisions on final exams and commencement will be made at a later date.
