Two Wellsville Residents Seriously Injured

Two Wellsville residents were seriously injured in a two vehicle accident around 5:50 yesterday Friday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says 29-year-old Patrick Powers was responding to an emergency call, with his lights activated, when his pickup hit a car in the intersection of Route A and Bates Street. The car, driven by 18-year-old Sadie Gosseen, was knocked into a stop sign. Both were taken to Columbia.
