Two Vandalia Women Hurt in UTV Accident

Two Vandalia women were hurt when their UTV went off Audrain County Road 563, a half mile south of Vandalia, and hit a ditch around 9:30 Saturday night. The State Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Stephanie Weinpert had lost control of the vehicle. She had minor injuries. A passenger, 39-year-old Tashana Hagnas, had moderate injuries. Both were taken to Mexico.
