Two Teens Injured In Boone County Accident

Two area teens were involved in a one car accident Friday night at the intersection of MO-124 and Route E in Boone County. According to the State Highway Patrol, around 8:26 a truck driven by 17-year-old Makinna Skaggs of Fayette, failed to stop at a stop sign, ran off the roadway and then struck a tree. Skaggs suffered moderate injuries and her 16-year-old juvenile passenger had minor injuries. Both were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
