Two Shelbyville Residents Hurt When Golf Cart Flips Over

Two Shelbyville residents were injured, one seriously, when a golf cart towed by an SUV overturned around 2:30pm Sunday in Shelby County. The State Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Kurtis Goers had serious injuries, and 25-year-old Jolene Goers had moderate injuries in the accident, which happened on Highway 15 two miles south of Shelbyville. Both were taken to Quincy. The SUV driver, 70-year-old Robert Dopson of Shelbyville, was not hurt.
