Two Seriously Hurt in Columbia Accident

Two Columbia residents were seriously hurt in an accident in Columbia around 6:50 Thursday morning. The State Highway Patrol says as she was trying to make a left turn at Route WW and El Chaparral, 33-year-old Victoria Swearengin pulled her car into the path of a van driven by 21-year-old Matthew Amburgey. Both were taken to University Hospital.
