Two People Seriously Injured in Adair County Accident

Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident in Adair County this morning. The accident occurred at 8:20 am on Highway 6, a half mile west of Brashear. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a dump truck driven by 63-year-old Rusty Harris of Kirksville traveled off the right of the road and overcorrected. Harris’ truck then traveled across the road, struck a bridge, and overturned onto an SUV driven by 21-year-old Ladonna Vincent of Durham. Both Harris and Vincent suffered serious injuries in the accident. Vincent was taken to Kirksville while Harris was sent to Columbia. Harris wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
