Two Named NAIA Baseball All-Americans

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced that Columbia College sophomore Cayden Nicoletto, and Central Methodist sophomore pitcher Alan West, have been selected to the NAIA All-American Baseball Second Team. Nicoletto also picked up First-Team All-Conference honors, Academic All-AMC recognition, and AMC Player of the Week honors once. He led the Cougars with 80 hits, 63 RBI, 21 home runs, and a slugging percentage of .817 over 54 games played. Nicoletto also collected 19 doubles and four triples, while producing a batting average of .385. West was 9-3, with a 3.04 ERA. He pitched 89 and a third innings, giving up 75 hits, 35 runs, 30 earned, striking out 117, and walking 19. He also hit .404, with nine home runs and 36 RBIs.
