Two Killed In An Accident On 63 In Boone County

Two people were killed in an accident on northbound Route 63 in Boone County north of the Route NN junction at 1:20 Monday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol reports 72-year old Danny Stidham of Harrisburg and 60-year old Carl McDonald of Fayette died in the accident. Stidham was driving a truck that was traveling slowly in the right lane of northbound 63. A semi driven by McDonald approached directly behind and failed to slow striking the rear of the Stidham truck. The northbound lanes of 63 were closed through much of the afternoon.
