Two Injured in Columbia Crash

Two people suffered moderate injuries in an accident on the east side of Columbia Saturday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says a westbound car driven by 20-year-old Daqwon Jackson of Columbia was turning left from Route WW onto El Chapparal and hit an eastbound SUV driven by 48-year Robert Chamberlain of Columbia around 3:10. Jackson and a 15-year-old girl in his car both were taken to a local hospital. Chamberlain was not hurt.
