Two Hurt in Marion County Accident

Two people were injured, one seriously, in an accident in Marion County Saturday night. The State Highway Patrol says a car driven by 19-year-old Thomas Walker of Quincy, Illinois, went off County Road 402, two miles east of Palmyra, around 7:15. The car hit a fence and several trees. He was seriously injured and flown to Columbia. A passenger, 17-year-old McKenna Gross of Ursa, Illinois, had minor injuries and was taken to Quincy.
