Two Hurt in Macon County Accident

Two men were seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident in Macon County Monday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says a car driven by 43-year-old Brandon True of Kirksville failed to negotiate a curve on Route J a mile west of Elmer around 5:15, overturned, went airborne, and hit a utility pole, ejecting True, and partially ejecting 22-year-old Augustus Allen of Atlanta. True was flown to Columbia. Allen was taken there by ambulance.
