Two Brookfield Residents Hurt in Linn County Accident

Two Brookfield residents were hurt, one seriously, in an accident on Highway 36 a mile east of Wheeling around 2:05pm Monday. The State Highway Patrol says an SUV driven by 21-year-old Mackenzy Royal went off the road. He overcorrected, and it returned to the road and overturned. He had minor injuries, and was taken to Chillicothe. A passenger, 23-year-old Keyera Adams of Brookfield, was seriously hurt and taken to Kansas City.
