Two Arrested In Mexico, With Additional Arrests Pending

The East Central Drug Task Force assisted by the Mexico Department of Public Safety and Audrain County Sheriff’s Office served a narcotic-related search warrant on Friday afternoon in the 1300 block of North Washington Street in Mexico. Officers found Methamphetamine, Marijuana, a Firearm, and multiple items of Drug Paraphernalia within the residence. 36-year-old Destinie Renae Helton was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also arrested, 17-year-old Teddy Memphis Helton for Possession of 11 to 35 grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both individuals were transported to the Audrain County Jail and officers report this investigation remains open and additional arrests are pending at this time.
