An arrest near the Macon Walmart on Memorial Day has led to two in custody after a drug investigation. 40-year-old Christopher Miller of Callao was arrested after officers discovered drugs and items used in the manufacturing of meth in his vehicle. It was learned during Miller’s arrest, that he was living at the residence of 36-year-old Sabrina Edwards. Edwards gave Missouri State Highway Patrol’s DDCC consent to search her property. During the search, deputies found meth and the ingredients used to manufacture meth, marijuana and several other pieces of drug paraphernalia. Deputies also found an active meth lab outside the residence in a soda bottle.

Edwards was transported to the Macon County Jail and has been charged with Manufacturing a Controlled Substance within 2000 ft. of a school, and Possession of Paraphernalia and Controlled Substances. Miller has received additional charges of Manufacturing and possession of controlled substances for his involvement with drugs at the home. Both bonds are set at 75,000 dollars cash only.
