Truman's Ross Is The GLVC Defensive Player Of The Week

Truman State linebacker Ulysses Ross is the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week. The junior from St. Louis finished with 10 tackles, including 2-and-a-half tackles for loss, and one sack, in the Bulldogs 14-7 win over Upper Iowa on Saturday. Ross forced a fumble on the Peacocks’ opening drive that led to a Truman touchdown. Two of his stops caused turnover on downs, including a tackle inside the one-yard line that denied an Upper Iowa touchdown. This is the second Defensive Player of the Week award this season for Ross.
