Truman Women’s Basketball Signs Three In The Early Period

Truman State Women’s Basketball coach Theo Dean signed three players to National Letters of Intent in the early period. Ella Armstrong from Ogden, Illinois, Avery Larson from Antioch, Illinois and Kaitlyn Patke from Washington, Missouri will be joining the Bulldogs next season.

Armstrong has shot 92-percent from the free throw line at St. Joseph-Ogden High School, including 31 straight. Her team finished third in state in 2019 when she was a freshman. Armstrong is a two-time member of the all-conference and all-area teams.

Larson averaged a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds in her first freshman and sophomore seasons at Antioch High School while adding three blocks per game.

Patke has been a first-team all-conference and all-area selections in both her sophomore and junior seasons at St. Francis Borgia High School. As a junior, she averaged 15.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
