Truman Women Win 10th Straight-Lions Upset The Bulldogs

The Truman women extended their winning streak to 10 straight, while the 21st ranked Bulldog men were upset in a split at Lindenwood today (Sat.).

In the women’s game, Truman erased a 12-point first half deficit and shutdown the Lions in the second half for a 57-47 victory in St. Charles. Trailing 31-25 at halftime, the Bulldogs wasted no time setting the tone in the third quarter…

The Bulldogs limited the GLVC’s leading scorer, Julia Ruzevich (roo-zuh-vitch) to nine points. Ellie Weltha recorded her ninth double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. The Bulldogs improve to 9-1 in the GLVC and 13-5 overall. The Lions drop to 5-3 in the conference and 8-7 overall.
