Truman Will Return To The America’s Crossroads Bowl

Truman State will get a chance to repeat as America’s Crossroads Bowl champions. The Bulldogs will represent the Great Lakes Valley Conference in the game after second place Indianapolis declined the bowl invitation. The Greyhounds beat Truman 13-10 on Saturday to finish behind GLVC-champion Lindenwood, who is in the NCAA playoffs. The top GLVC team not in the NCAA playoffs is the first to receive consideration for the bowl game.

Truman State will play the Hillsdale College Chargers in the second annual America’s Crossroads Bowl on Saturday, December. 4th, in Hobart, Indiana. The 6-5 Chargers finished tied for second in the Great Midwest standings. The Bulldogs wrapped up the regular season 8-3, including a victory over Hillsdale 38-24 on September 18th at Stokes Stadium.

Truman State played in the inaugural America’s Crossroads Bowl in 2019 and beat Ohio Dominican 21-7.

The America’s Crossroads Bowl is one of four NCAA Division II bowl games sponsored nationally in 2021 and is conducted in partnership with the South Shore Convention & Visitors Authority and City of Hobart, Indiana. The game will kickoff at 1:00 at Brickyard Stadium.
