Truman Welcomes Newcomer Lindenwood to Pershing Arena

Great Lakes Valley Conference newcomer Lindenwood comes to Pershing Arena for a doubleheader with Truman State Thursday. The Bulldog women have won five in a row to improve to 15-4 overall and 11-1 in the GLVC. Coach Theo Dean says they face a challenge in the Lions’ Kallie Bildner, who averages 21 points and 11 rebounds per game….

Bildner scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Lindenwood to a 94-83 win over Truman last season at the Drury Thanksgiving Tournament. The Lions are 11-7 and 7-5 in league play.

The Truman men have won three in a row and eight-of-nine to improve to 14-6 on the season and 10-2 in the GLVC. Coach Jeff Horner says Lindenwood can score….

The game features the top two scorers in the conference in the Lions’ T.J. Crockett (21.3) and Truman’s Brodric Thomas (20.8). Former MACC coach Kyle Gerdeman leads Lindenwood and his Lions are 8-12 and 2-10 in the GLVC.
