Truman Visits Wayne State Trying To Sweep Michigan Teams

A week after picking up a season-opening win at Davenport, Truman State heads back to the state of Michigan to play Wayne State in Detroit on Saturday. Wayne State narrowly lost to 5th ranked Slippery Rock in week one. Coach Nesbitt said the Warriors had the football at the one-yard line late in the game….

The Bulldogs blitzed Wayne State two years ago at Stokes Stadium with 24 second quarter points and cruised to a 35-12 victory. After that loss, the Warriors won eight-of-nine games to finish the 2019 season.
