Truman State WBB Welcomes New Collegiate Transfers

The Truman State Bulldogs showcased some new faces on the women’s basketball team in their exhibition games against Creighton and Notre Dame. Head coach Theo Dean spoke about one of the two transfers joining the team this year in graduate student Alex Fanning.

Fanning is a transfer from Benedictine University where she averaged 13 points and 11 rebounds. The forward produced seven points in 18 minutes against Notre Dame for the Bulldogs. Dean spoke about the Bulldog’s other transfer, who comes to Truman from former GLVC opponent Lindenwood.

Neff finished with 103 assists last season, the 2nd most in the GLVC. The junior point guard saw the floor for 18 minutes against Notre Dame. Truman adds three freshmen to the roster this season as well.

The Truman women will head to Hillsdale, Michigan this weekend for a GLVC-GMAC Crossover Challenge. The Bulldogs will play Hillsdale on Saturday and Ursuline on Sunday.
