Truman Starts An MIAA Road Trip In Joplin

Truman State men’s basketball returns to their old stomping grounds with three straight games against MIAA opponents away from home. The 6th ranked and 2-0 Bulldogs will play two in Joplin this weekend starting Friday evening with Pittsburg State. The Kim Anderson-led Gorillas lost their two opening weekend games to Winona State and Upper Iowa. Truman coach Jeff Horner gives his scouting report….

The Bulldogs started the season with victories over Ohio opponents Cedarville and Findlay last weekend. Cedarville used pressure to trim a 17 point halftime lead down to one possession. Horner says they will need to apply what they learned in being strong with the basketball….
