Transportation Commission Approves STIP

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Wednesday approved the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program for fiscal years 2024 through 2028. The $14 billion plan includes funding to widen I-70 to at least three lanes in each direction across the state, fix low-volume minor roads, and improve railroad safety crossings. Missouri has nearly 34,000 miles of state highways and more than 10,000 bridges. The Final STIP is available on MoDOT’s website.
