The 2020 Missouri Legislative session was largely derailed due to COVID-19. With the legislature out for several weeks due to the onset of the pandemic, many pieces of legislation that otherwise would have been passed, were left behind. Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch says that included a bill that she has re-filed this year.

Toalson Reisch adds there is a sense of urgency among members of the Missouri House of Representatives to get as much passed as possible this year.

One of the main focuses of the legislature during the current session is going to be on several pieces of legislation dealing with COVID relief for Missourians.
