Mizzou basketball came from 15 down in the first half, but fell in overtime at Xavier 63-58. Dru Smith led all scorers with 22 points and was the only Tiger in double figures. Martin says they need to create more scoring.
The Tigers turned the ball over 20 times.
Dru Smith grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds for the Tigers. Xavier Pinson added nine points off the bench. Mizzou falls to 2-1 on the young season, while Xavier improves to 3-0. The Tigers return home to host Wofford Monday night at Mizzou Arena.
