Three People Injured in Monroe County Accident

Three people were injured in a two vehicle accident in Monroe County yesterday (Sat.) morning. The State Highway Patrol says just after 11 on Highway 154, two miles west of Perry, an eastbound pickup truck driven by 39-year old Ryan Conner of Bowling Green attempted to pass another vehicle when it struck a westbound pickup driven by 61-year old Mark Boyer of Washington head-on. Conner had serious injuries. Boyer suffered moderate injuries, and a passenger, 60-year old Deborah Boyer of Washington, was seriously injured. Both Boyers were taken to Hannibal for treatment while Conner was airlifted to Columbia.
