Three Minor Injuries in Randolph County Accident

Three people suffered minor injuries when a Moberly woman tried to make a U-turn on Highway 24 at Route C south of Huntsville, and her pickup was hit by an SUV. The State Highway Patrol says around 11:15 Tuesday morning, 62-year-old Athena Bachtel’s pickup was hit by an SUV driven by 81-year-old Wanda Mathis of Cairo. Both drivers, and a passenger in Mathis’s SUV, 81-year-old Earl White of Cairo, were all taken to MRMC.
