Three Hurt in Linn County Accident

Three people were hurt when a truck went off a Linn County bridge and landed in a creek after it had a mechanical failure Saturday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says around 5:35, the truck driven by 39-year-old Carvin Weaver of Lancaster went off Route C a mile west of Highway 11. He had minor injuries, and refused treatment. Two passengers, 28-year-old Shayna Sapp of Greentop, and an 11-year-old boy from Kirksville, had moderate injuries. They were taken to Brookfield.
