Three Hounds Going Division I

Three MACC Greyhound basketball players have signed NCAA Division I Letters-of-Intent. Tre’von Spillers will play at Appalachian State, Teddy Washington will play at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and Jaheim Tanksley is headed to St. Peters. All three were sophomore transfers into the MACC program this past season. Spillers, a 6’7” forward from Charleston, South Carolina, averaged 13 points and 11 rebounds per game, with an NJCAA-leading 4.9 blocks per game, and was named First Team NJCAA All-American. Washington, a 6’2” combo guard from Blytheville, Arkansas, averaged 14 points and 4 rebounds per game for the Greyhounds this past season. Tanksley is a 5’9” point guard from Edison, New Jersey. He led the Hounds in scoring at more than 15 points per game.
