Three From Moberly Injured in Howard County Accident Following Reported Burglary

Three people from Moberly were injured in a Howard County accident Saturday afternoon at 4:45 at the intersection of Highway 3 and County Road 232. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a car driven by 23-year-old Richard Baker of Moberly was in a pursuit with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department following a reported burglary. Baker ended up traveling off the right side of the road and overturned. Baker and two passengers, 20-year-old Nathaniel Taylor and a 16-year-old boy both from Moberly, all suffered moderate injuries. All three were treated and released from a local hospital. They’ve each been charged with second-degree burglary. Both Baker and Taylor are being held in the Randolph County Jail on ten-thousand dollar bonds.
