Three Big K Golfers Earn All-State Medals in Class 1
Centralia’s ReaLee Smith, Brookfield’s Demi Downey, and Harrisburg’s Ashley Clark received All-State medals after the Class 1 State Golf Tournament. Smith placed sixth with a 184 (+40). Downey tied for 10th at 200 (+56). Harrisburg’s Ashley Clark shot a 202 (+58) and tied for 13th. In the two-team race, Brookfield finished a full 100 strokes behind winner Sacred Heart.
In Class 2, Father Tolton’s Audrey Rischer took second and Tolton also took second out of six teams. Mexico’s Lillian Knipfel finished with a 159 (+15) to take seventh. Also earning All-State honors were Madeline Fallis and Jayden Berrey of Tolton, who finished 13th and 14th respectively. Lily Frazier of Southern Boone also tied for 14th.
